We are thrilled to share some fantastic news from Roseway House – our lead Lifestyle Coordinator, Dawn, has been featured in the prestigious Care Talk Magazine!

Dawn’s ‘Come Dine with Me’ initiative has been creating quite a buzz and is rapidly becoming one of our beloved residents’ most impactful and unique activities. This initiative is inspired by a popular TV Series, Dawn, accompanied by the residents who are set to visit other car homes to dine together. Dawn successfully secured a grant of £300 from The Big Local Jarrow, funded by the National Lottery. This amount will be utilised for their food and entertainment. Her thoughtful initiative is to encourage new friendships and community involvement.

Dawn has completed her Dementia Care Mapping training and is constantly seeking new ways to enrich the lives of our residents with her boundless enthusiasm and knowledge. But it doesn’t stop there! Dawn’s efforts extend to the entire Roseway House team, fostering a collaborative environment that brings our residents closer to the community and helps them lead more fulfilled lives.

This achievement is a testament to the incredible teamwork at Roseway House and the dedication of individuals like Dawn, who go above and beyond their roles to support our residents. We are proud of Dawn and are incredibly grateful to have such dedicated individuals on our team to go above and beyond to help our residents by maintaining high-quality care.
